The canvas editor
Move, resize and align individual elements while keeping control of the design.
Select and arrange
Open a draft and choose Canvas editor. Select a text, image or shape to reveal its controls. Use the inspector to adjust position and size precisely.
- Drag an element to move it; use its resize controls to change its bounds.
- Use alignment controls to center an object on the slide.
- Use text alignment to position words within their own text box.
- Change layer order when text or images should sit in front of one another.
Tune typography and contrast
Adjust font, size, weight and color. Leave enough room for the complete text and check the smallest description at phone size. For imagery, keep faces and important action away from text and logos.
Ask AI for a focused adjustment
Use Ask AI within the canvas for a specific design change. Describe the intended result, then review the proposal before applying it. Manual controls remain available for exact corrections.
Review before moving on
Use Undo and Redo while editing. Check the slide after changing its preset because the preset replaces the layout. Duplicate the draft before a large creative experiment if you want to preserve both directions.
